History of Immanuel Christian Mission
This mission is built on the foundation of Indonesian Christian Mission, a tax-exempt mission established in 1973 to sponsor Bob and Jan MacLean in their church planting work in Indonesia. Now Bob and Jan divide their time between mission recruiting and teaching seminars. They also supervise a book publishing ministry
In 2019, Indonesian Christian Mission was re-branded as Immanuel Christian Mission.
We teach the church planting methods of Apostle Paul and good Christian stewardship among the new Christians.
Our benevolent work has included aid to volcano victims, sending workers to Sumatra to help when the Tsunami hit, orphanage work, and aid to Covid victims. ICM also sponsors HIV Hope Seminars helping believers understand the disease and ministering to those living with HIV.
ICM is always open to recruiting new missionaries to establish other church plants.
